Favorite holiday moment of the season:
Learning that my great uncle (my dad’s uncle) hitch-hiked his way from New Jersey to Florida when he was my age, 20. If only I was that cool.

The Nutcracker
One of my favorite traditions from this time of year is to go see The Nutcracker, whether it is at Lincoln Center or at a local theatre in Jersey.
Just came across this story about a recent criticism made about the Sugar Plum Fairy in the New York City Ballet’s “The Nutcracker”.
Her take on the situation is extremely graceful. Just as a Sugar Plum Fairy should be.
